A week after President Trump announced his big geographic shakeup, some people are going with the name "Gulf of America." Florida Governor Ron DeSantis issued a weather warning that referred to "an area of low pressure moving across the Gulf of America." Google Maps says it will also be changing the name of the Gulf of Mexico to "Gulf of America" to conform with Trump’s announcement. However, most TV meteorologists are sticking with the old name.
