Sunday marked Groundhog Day and a large crowd gathered in Punxsutawney, Penn., to see if their famous Punxsutawney Phil would see his shadow and call for six more weeks of winter or predict an early spring.

Members of the Punxsutawney Groundhog Club made the journey to Gobbler’s Knob — Phil’s official home — to see what the weather may have in store.

As he was pulled from his burrow, Phil saw his shadow, predicting six more weeks of winter.
