In the latest development of the Russia-Ukraine war, the two countries have established another prisoner exchange.

Footage showed dozens of cheery soldiers on the bus home, before reuniting with their family members and friends in-person or over the phone.

In an address to the nation, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed 150 nations were heading home – many of which he said were “held prisoner for years.”

This comes as U.S. President Donald Trump begins his second term in the White House and has promised progress towards ending the ongoing conflict.
