Almost a week has passed since demonstrators took to the streets of Los Angeles in protest against raids by federal agents targeting undocumented migrants. Scenes of National Guard troops in downtown LA only served to fuel the fire. Clashes erupted over the weekend. An overnight curfew is now in effect in the city centre.
