Hegseth suggests ‘elevation issue’ in DC plane crash

From Reuters.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth says there appears to have been an elevation issue with the U.S. Army helicopter that collided with a passenger jet at a Washington airport, killing 67 people in the deadliest U.S. air disaster in more than 20 years.

Hegseth said the helicopter was being operated on a training flight by a "fairly experienced crew" with night-vision goggles. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
