When Danielle Macpherson’s meal kit got delivered, she thought it was just another Sunday morning in Calgary. But things took a dramatic turn when a masked thief tried to steal her package, right off her doorstep.

Donning only a bath robe and slippers, Danielle sprang into action, pushing the thief away and even capturing the getaway car’s license plate, all caught on her doorbell camera. Her quick reflexes and bravery turned her into an overnight viral sensation. Even the Calgary Police were impressed.

“Maybe we should sign her up for the Olympic team, certainly cleared those steps really well” Sgt. Nick Wilsher told Global News.

While the police remind everyone that confronting criminals can be risky, there’s no denying Danielle’s fearless defense of her home sent a strong message.
