Mayflies are swarming earlier and in greater numbers in Budapest, Hungary this year. Researchers think recent warm weather and the low Danube river have led to the increased number of the bugs. Blue lights were installed on bridges in the city to help the protected species find the waters it needs to lay its eggs.
