Social media is replete with images of people putting sunscreen on their dogs, and veterinarian Dr. Jeff Werber showed Inside Edition’s Jim Moret how he applies sunscreen to his dog’s belly. He says dogs with exposed skin who like to lie on their backs are perfect candidates for sunscreen. "Much of it depends on the breed, the length of coat, how much exposed skin," he said, adding "there are some dogs that probably never need sunscreen."
