How well does the Toyota GR Corolla handle the snow? After experiencing the 2023, 2024, and 2025 GR Corollas, and driving in the snow with each generation, how do the vehicles compare? And are the revisions to the 2025 GR Corolla worth the upgrade?

The GR Corolla has an exceptional AWD system, constantly sending from 40 to 70% of the vehicles torque to the rear wheels at all times, rather than only engaging AWD when the vehicle detects wheel slip. It also has Torsen limited slip differentials in both the front and the back, so you don’t have to worry about traction left-to-right. We’ll discuss the AWD system in detail, and what the different torque splits mean for winter driving.

Finally, we’ll touch on the 8 speed automatic transmission, as Toyota now offers this as an option for the 2025 GR Corolla. How does it compare against the 6-speed manual? Watch for all the details!
