The editor of The Atlantic magazine, Jeffrey Goldberg, was added to a group chat with Vice President JD Vance, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and National Security Adviser Mike Waltz. Details about airstrikes by the US on Houthi rebels in Yemen were discussed before and after they were carried out. Democratic lawmakers say the breach is a violation of law that must be investigated by Congress.
