For years Pakistan had been sidelined in geopolitics as the US and other rich countries developed stronger ties with its arch rival India. But things apparently have been turning in Pakistan’s favour. The country already enjoys a strong relationship with China and now is extending its relationship with the US and Russia. Islamabad is expecting more economic and diplomatic gains over its improved relations with Washington.
