How weakened is Iran’s military after attacks from Israel and US? | DW News

From DW News.

Iran is holding mass state funerals for what it calls the martyrs of its 12-day war with Israel and the United States. Those being honored include dozens of top military commanders, nuclear scientists and their family members.
The coffins of around 60 people are being carried through the streets of the capital Tehran. They’re among the more than 600 people who Iran’s health ministry says were killed in the war. Israeli airstrikes hit military targets, state media buildings and residential areas, while US bombers struck Iran’s nuclear facilities. In response, Iranian strikes on Israel killed 28 people, all of them civilians. Iran’s supreme leader has claimed the outcome as a victory.
