Hundreds of protesters rallied at Calgary City Hall on Sunday as leaders from around the world began arriving for the start of the G7 summit in the Rocky Mountain resort of Kananaskis, Alta., about an hour west of the city.

Aside from some traffic disruptions, Sunday’s protests were largely peaceful.
