From Global News.
Hurricane Erin has regained strength in the Caribbean and is now classified as a category 4 storm. It’s expected it could once again regain Category 5 strength.
Forecasters say Erin is now growing, which is raising the risk of life threatening surf along the eastern U.S. sea board later in the week.
The first Atlantic hurricane of 2025 reached the highest category status on Saturday, indicating potentially catastrophic damage.
Erin is forecasted to turn north, reaching parts of Bermuda, North Carolina and the Bahamas this week.
