'I can't believe I came out alive': Lone India plane crash survivor recalls miracle escape | AFP

The only passenger to have survived the Air India plane crash says he can’t believe he’s still alive. Speaking from a hospital bed in Ahemdabad, Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, a British citizen, tells national broadcaster DD News how the plane’s door broke and there was enough space for him to get out. Ramesh, who was reportedly seated in seat 11A, is the only one of 242 people aboard the London-bound flight to have survived, with at least 24 others killed on the ground.
