Israeli airstrike hits Syria’s defence ministry during live news broadcast

A Syria TV broadcast was abruptly interrupted as an Israeli airstrike, which hit the defence ministry in Damascus during a live report.

Israel said it launched the attack to stop Syrian forces from targeting Druze communities in the south.
