Israeli military targeted an Al Jazeera correspondent, killing him and four other journalists

Al Jazeera’s Anas al-Sharif and four of his colleagues were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Sunday night in Gaza City. They were sheltering outside the Gaza City Hospital complex.

Reporters Without Borders says Israel’s lethal attacks on the media in Gaza have created the highest death toll for journalists ever recorded in a single year of war anywhere.
