Black tarpaulins surround the stands of five Israeli arms manufacturers on the first day of the Paris Air Show in Le Bourget. They were banned from attending by the French government because they were displaying “offensive” weapons, such as those likely to be used in Gaza, in violation of the framework agreed in advance with the Israeli authorities.
