“It was like an earthquake”: Banff rock slide survivor recalls moments before tragedy

Cindy Macarthur narrowly escaped last week’s rock slide at Bow Glacier Falls alive.

"It was a rumbling. It was like an earthquake. Never heard that kind of sound before. And it’ll haunt me for the rest of my life," said Macarthur.

In an emotional account, she reflects on her fight for survival and the heart-wrenching moments of comforting a dying friend.
