Karen Read revealed she will not be taking the stand at her murder trial. Dozens of supporters, many wearing pink, lined the sidewalk Wednesday, knowing the end of the trial is near. Read is accused of mowing down her Boston cop boyfriend, John O’Keefe, in a jealous rage. The defense contends there was a cover-up, and O’Keefe was beaten and left for dead. The two-month trial is expected to wrap up by the end of the week.
