Kosovo: Lawmakers fail to launch government in 50th consecutive attempt| DW News

Kosovo reached a landmark of sorts today, as lawmakers failed for the 50th consecutive time to launch the process of forming a new government.

Monday’s session was the latest attempt to break a political deadlock since parliamentary elections were held on February 9th. According to law, members of parliament have thirty days to set in motion the process of forming a new government. So far it’s been more than three months of fruitless attempts.
