From TODAY.

Dame Kristin Scott Thomas joins TODAY to discuss writing, directing and acting in her new movie, “My Mother’s Wedding,” and opens up about why she wrote the film, wanting to take back the story of her “so-called tragic childhood.” “As a sort of adult, I feel grown up enough to actually claim that story for myself and not have anyone else write about it, but me write about it,” she says. Thomas also reflects on her film debut in Prince’s 1986 cult classic film “Under the Cherry Moon” and shares how she watches her show “Slow Horses” as a fan.
