Officials are set to speak on Friday after at least three people were reported dead following an apparent explosion at a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department training facility, according to authorities.

The facility is located about five miles east of Los Angeles City Hall.

Attorney General Pam Bondi posted about the explosion on social media, stating in part, "Our federal agents are at the scene, and we are working to learn more."

The incident is currently under investigation.
