Veteran LGBTQ activist and Spain’s first trans lawmaker Carla Antonelli called out far-right Vox lawmakers in Madrid’s regional parliament on 20 February in a viral speech that has accumulated 3.7 million views in five days on her party’s Instagram account. Vox had unsuccessfully tried to repeal a law that protects transgender rights.
