A member of the Irish rap group Kneecap will appear at London’s Westminster Magistrates’ Court charged with a terrorism offense for allegedly displaying a flag in support of the Iran-backed group Hezbollah. Liam Og O hAnnaidh, whose stage name is Mo Chara, is alleged to have shown the flag during a gig in London in November 2024.

The hearing is expected to determine whether the charge was brought too late and, if not, will require Ó hAnnaidh to enter a plea.
