Watch live as Pope Francis is set to be released from Rome’s Gemelli hospital after five weeks battling a severe case of pneumonia in both lungs that threatened his life on two occasions. The 88-year-old pontiff is expected to appear from a window of the hospital before he is discharged.

Francis will require at least two months of rest, rehabilitation and convalescence back at the Vatican during which time he has been discouraged from meeting in big groups or exerting himself, a doctor who coordinated the pope’s medical team at the hospital said on Saturday.
