View of central Barcelona returning to normality after a huge power outage hit large parts of Spain and Portugal, paralyzing traffic, grounding flights, trapping people in elevators and leaving power operators scrambling to restore power to millions of homes and businesses.
 
Power started returning to parts of the Iberian Peninsula late on April 28 while the cause was unclear, with Portugal suggesting the issue originated in Spain and Spain pointing the finger at a break-up in its connection to France.
