From PBS NewsHour.

We want to honor someone very special to the News Hour. Behind every camera cue, every smooth transition, every seamless moment, there’s been one person working tirelessly behind the scenes to make it all happen. Our stage manager and studio supervisor Loretta Rodgers is retiring after 38 remarkable years with WETA and the News Hour. Early in her career, Loretta was one of very few women of color working in television production in the country. Over the years, she has set the standard for excellence here in a number of different roles.
