Luigi Mangione has his first court appearance in New York since he was arraigned in December on murder charges connected to the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. Mangione wore a bulletproof vest and shackles for the procedural hearing. He has pleaded not guilty to state charges. NBC News’ Stephanie Gosk was in the courtroom in lower Manhattan.
