Residents of a Halifax neighbourhood say they are shocked that a rising star in U.S. President Donald Trump’s MAGA movement is set to perform at a nearby Parks Canada historic site.

York Redoubt, a Canadian National Historic Site overlooking the entrance to Halifax Harbour, is scheduled to be the venue but some residents are not pleased by the decision. “When I first heard about it, I was pretty ticked off,” says Halifax resident Thomas Lee.

Christian rocker Sean Feucht is kicking off his Canadian tour on Wednesday, and as Global’s Mitchell Bailey reports, many are pushing for it to be unplugged before it starts.
