Mahasin al-Zaneen is a 39-year-old single mom in Gaza City, raising eight kids in a tent. Before the war, she worked training teachers and provided a steady life for her family. Now, they rely on boiled lentils from a charity kitchen, when there’s food at all. NPR’s Anas Baba spent a day with the family to document how they’re getting by as access to food remains limited in Gaza.
