Man Allegedly Held Captive Says He Wants His Freedom

From Inside Edition.

A Connecticut man was allegedly held captive by his stepmom. For over 20 years, the stepson says he was locked inside a small 8-by-9-foot storage space on the second floor. He was given only two sandwiches a day and drank water from the toilet. Apparently longing for freedom, he set fire to the house using printer paper, flammable hand sanitizer, and a lighter. When flames woke his stepmom, Kimberly Sullivan called 911. Inside Edition’s Ann Mercogliano has more.
