Mariska Hargitay joins TODAY to share what she discovered about her mother, Hollywood icon Jayne Mansfield, while making the deeply personal new documentary called “My Mom Jayne.” She opens up to TODAY about finding out Mickey Hargitay was not her biological father, what her family thought about her making the film, and what it was like to hear her mom’s “real” voice. “To hear her real voice when she dropped down in that register, I went, ‘there you are’,” she says.
