The legendary heavy metal pioneer Ozzy Osbourne is dead. The singer’s death was announced by his family, who said he was "surrounded by love." Coming out of Birmingham, England, John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne and his bandmates crafted a new, darker musical world from the ashes of 1960s idealism. Black Sabbath’s second album, "Paranoid," released in 1970, was Rolling Stone’s number one metal album of all time. Ozzy Osbourne was 76 years old.
