Officials will hold a press conference after three miners who were trapped underground for more than 60 hours at the Red Chris gold and copper mine in northwestern B.C. were rescued.

Kevin Coumbs, Darien Maduke, and Jesse Chubaty were safely brought to the surface Thursday night after crews cleared debris from a collapsed access tunnel.

All three are reported to be in good health. Officials are expected to provide a live update on the incident and ongoing investigation into what caused the collapse.
