Montreal air quality worst in the world on Saturday because of wildfire smoke

Smoke from wildfires in the Canadian Prairies led to air quality warnings across southern Quebec on Saturday.

Air quality in Montreal was ranked the worst in the world by Swiss company IQAir.

Environment Canada issued warnings recommending people limit their time outdoors and heat warnings were expected to remain in effect through Tuesday.

As Dan Spector reports, wildfire smoke and heat is a dangerous summer combo that’s becoming increasingly common.
