Montreal teen arrested on terror charges faces adult sentence, Crown opposes release

A Montreal teen arrested on terror-related charges could face an adult sentence.

The 17-year-old boy appeared briefly in a Montreal courthouse Thursday. He faces three charges in youth court linked to the Islamic State.

The federal Crown has opposed his release, and a bail hearing is scheduled for Monday.
