This charger is intended for LIR series button cells. It can’t be used to recharge CR2032 type non-rechargeable cells and despite many of the sellers claiming that it can charge ML2032 cells it is not recommended as they have a lower cell voltage than the LIR series.

The unit does have the proper identification resistors for modern smart chargers to deliver power, and it has a very neat contact system that makes it easy to insert a wide range of cell sizes for recharging. Note that the charge current is fixed at around 10mA for any size of cell.

Ignore the three LED positions on the front, as there is just one charging status LED.

Note that LIR cells like the classic LIR2032 have a higher voltage (up to 4.2V) than CR2032 cells (3V), and also have much lower capacity, but make up for it by being rechargeable.
