New study says fluoride ban could increase kids’ cavities by millions

A new study found that if every state in the U.S. gets rid of programs to add fluoride to water, kids could get 25 million more cavities in five years. Two states have already dropped their fluoride program and others are considering it. NBC News’ Tom Costello speaks with medical reporter Erika Edwards about what the researchers learned.
