Eli Lilly says a first-of-its-kind weight-loss pill could be on pharmacy shelves by next year after a successful phase 3 clinical trial. While the medication didn’t help people lose as much weight as the injectable version, it was still significant and it also showed signs of improvement for cholesterol and blood pressure.
