‘Nobody imagined this’: Texas floods leaves at least 81 dead, 10 children missing

From MSNBC.

Catastrophic flooding in Central Texas has killed at least 81 people across six counties. In Kerr County, where waters rose over 20 feet in under two hours, officials report 40 adults and 28 children dead — many from Camp Mystic, a Christian girls’ summer camp along the Guadalupe River. At this hour, 10 children and one counselor remain missing.
“This camp is a special place,” NBC’s Ryan Chandler said. “A lot of the girls who we know are lost are 7, 8, 9 years old… sleeping in their beds when this came in, in the dead of night.”
