From Global News.
Maritimers remain divided on provincial bans on visiting wooded areas both Nova Scotia and New Brunswick as those provinces deal with a challenging wildfire season.
The ban in Nova Scotia has prompted one Cape Breton man, a candidate for the right-wing People’s Party of Canada, to take action.
Jeff Evely posted a video to social media over the weekend announcing at the Department of Natural Resources Office in Cox Heath that he intended to violate the ban in order to take the province to court.
Ella MacDonald reports on the brazen move and the response to it.
