More than 20 Palestinians were reportedly killed on Sunday by Israeli fire near aid distribution sites in southern Gaza, according to hospital officials and witnesses.

The Israeli military says it only fires warning shots, though hundreds have died seeking aid in recent months.

International agencies warn that over two million Gazans are facing famine due to Israeli restrictions on humanitarian access.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Red Crescent says an Israeli airstrike on its Khan Younis headquarters killed one staff member.
