In a quiet corner of Paris, the rhythmic hum of a drum textile machine and the soft thud of wool being hand-stitched into place echo through the 145-year-old workshop of ‘Le Briand,’ co-owned by Rosalie Hoedts and Theo Martial. ‘Le Briand’ is the last artisanal mattress maker in Paris and one of the last in France to revive this traditional craft.
