Pilot Arrested After Failing Sobriety Test Minutes Before Takeoff

From Inside Edition.

An airline pilot took a field sobriety test outside his plane filled with passengers. A TSA agent reported that 52-year-old Captain David Allsop’s breath reeked of alcohol as he went through the security gate in Georgia. Police ordered the Southwest Airlines pilot out of the cockpit minutes before takeoff for Chicago. Police told him he failed the test and he was placed in handcuffs. Allsop lost his pilot’s license and his job. If he is prosecuted, he may face federal charges.
