Former immigration minister Marc Miller said Wednesday that Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre was "failing" after his comments about imposing "severe limits" on immigration. Miller said the policies put in place had a lot of consultation behind them, and they reduced those numbers in a way that made sense, specifically to address population growth and how it had become unbalanced in the last few years.
