Poland’s centre-left Prime Minister Donald Tusk has survived a vote of confidence in parliament.

Following the election of right-wing nationalist President Karol Nawrocki, Tusk called on lawmakers to show support for his government. Speaking in parliament before the vote, Tusk said his pro-EU coalition government has brought progress to Poland and insisted he has a mandate to push ahead with his agenda.
