Police officers, firefighters and an ambulance are seen on site after a stabbing attack in the heart of Amsterdam injured five people, according to Dutch police, adding that a suspect was in custody after being overpowered by a bystander. Police had earlier given a toll of four seriously wounded, but confusion appeared to have resulted from the fact the suspect himself was also hurt.
