Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre says if elected he’ll see all drug ‘kingpins’ convicted of trafficking what he calls major quantities of fentanyl get a mandatory life sentence. Leslie McBain, the co-founder of Moms Stop The Harm, says Poilivre’s plan ‘will not work’ and that that increasing border security with the U.S. will have only a minor impact on fentanyl consumption.
