Lights have flickered back to life in Spain and Portugal after a massive blackout hit the Iberian peninsula. Passengers were stranded in trains and hundreds of elevators, while millions saw phone and internet coverage die.
There is still no firm cause for the blackout. Spain’s Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has said “all potential causes” are being analysed and warned the public “not to speculate” after wild rumours spread.
